Process
Concept Ideation: I began by researching PPE brands and online retailers to understand how users navigate safety product websites. The design direction was guided by keywords like trust, protection, reliability, and ease of use. The goal was to create a concept that felt professional and straightforward while making safety products approachable for both businesses and individuals.
Design Development: I developed wireframes that mapped out clear product categories (e.g., gloves, masks, helmets, sanitizers) and intuitive navigation. Visually, I leaned into a bold, clean style: strong typography, high-contrast layouts, and a color palette inspired by safety signals (blues, greys, and accent yellows/oranges). Interactive elements like product filters, quick views, and a simplified checkout process were designed as part of the prototype to illustrate how the site could function.
Final Concept: The outcome was a polished concept design that reimagined how a PPE retailer could present its catalog online. The responsive layouts, user-friendly navigation, and clear product emphasis demonstrate how the brand could build credibility and improve user experience. While not fully developed, this concept serves as a strong visual and functional blueprint for a future build.
